SHED WALKS

SHED's founders have always wanted to nurture the community side of co-working. The original idea of the co-working desk space was born out of a photography studio they set up and then invited friends to share the office space. Back in 2010, they were organising film nights with friends, family and colleagues and today is no different. As part of the membership today you would get access to regular socials that are inspired by the founder's interests and experience. Christopher recently organised a desk space social for its members and wrote about it in a newsletter.

"I’ve always found a lot of comfort and pleasure in taking myself for a walk. Even just 10 minutes out of the office around the local park or over to debouvoir square to look at all the posh houses. I guess the thing I'm craving the most is being around nature and in an open space. Rain or shine i really love to walk. which is what inspired me to set up SHED Walks.

Last month, we organised something a bit further afield and with a few more steps with a walk from Wye in Ken to Canterbury which is part of the pilgrim way. We were joined by SHED members and some friends and family for the first of our monthly walks. We take pride in organising social events for you to take part in. whether that's a social drink, a coffee morning or a film night

If you're keen to join the next hike let us know and we can add you to the hiking channel on WhatsApp. You won't regret it, it's always fun and you feel a great sense of achievement having completed 14+ miles. So let us know and you can join us for the next hike."

Don't just take our word for it that SHED is the perfect place for you to set up your business and grow, our members also agree to see a recent interview with Ben who's been a member for almost 2 years now.

Meet Ben

"The workspace, atmosphere and people working at SHED make this place feel more like home than an office space. Chris and the rest of his team are super laid back, easy to talk to and very helpful. The office spaces are occupied mostly by the creative community and it doesn't feel overcrowded like most desk spaces. There's always someone to head to the pub with on a Friday and we have monthly coffee morning to catch up with existing and new members. I highly recommend coming in for a few days to test a desk to get a good feel of the space."
